Dear Prospective NSA-NYC Chapter Member,

Affiliate Membership

NSA-NYC welcomes new and emerging speakers to join the New York City Chapter at the Affiliate level. The criteria for Affiliate membership is that you are in the process of building a speaking career, but have not met the criteria to be a “Professional Member” of the National Speakers Association. (See Professional Membership criteria below.) If you have no experience in the speaking business, you are always welcome to come as a guest and learn from our programs as you begin to build your speaking career.

Affiliate Member: This category is for individuals wanting to belong to NSA-NYC, but not yet meeting the criteria for national membership. It includes:

* Reduced Rates at meetings
* Special Invitations to "members only" events
* Education
* Community
* Eligibility for the Mentoring Program

Cost: $145.00 annually, with $30.00 registration (online rate) per meeting

Full Membership

If you a “Professional Member” in good standing of the National Speakers Association (www.nsaspeaker.org), please join the New York City Chapter as a “Full Member.” Professional Members of the National Speakers Association have met one or more of the minimum requirements: They have received compensation for at least 20 presentations in the past 12 months. (or) They have presented at least 20 times to audiences of 15 or more as a part of a salaried position in the past 12 months. (or) They earned at least $25,000 presenting in the past 12 months.

Full Member: This category is for those who are already NSA national members. It includes:

* Listing in the Online Directory
* Reduced Rates at meetings
* Special Invitations to "members only" events
* Education
* Community
* Recognition

Cost: $145.00 annually, with $30.00 registration (online rate) per meeting

Chapter Guest

This is for anyone who wishes to visit our meetings to learn about the speaking profession and begin to pursue this career. No limit on the number of times you can visit.

Cost: $50.00 (online rate) per meeting
